What This Part Does
Every drop of waste water leaving the drum passes through the pump filter before it reaches the drain pump. The filter traps small objects and lint that would otherwise jam or damage the pump impeller, and its sealing ring keeps the filter housing watertight. It unscrews from the front of the machine for routine cleaning.
