Shower Pump PCB Control Board for Stuart Turner Monsoon Showermate
Shower Pump PCB Control Board for Stuart Turner Monsoon Showermate
If your shower pump has stopped starting when you turn on the shower, keeps running after the tap is off, or has gone dead even though it has power, the control board is a common cause. This replacement PCB control board is for Stuart Turner Monsoon, Showermate and Boostamatic shower pumps, in positive head, negative head and universal versions. It works with both the old and new style reed switches, so the pump's existing flow switches do not need changing.

What This Part Does
The control board is the pump's brain. When you open a shower or tap, water flow moves a magnet past the reed switch in the pump, and the board reads that signal and switches the motor on. When the flow stops, the board switches the motor off again. If the board fails, the pump may not start, may run on, or may start and stop repeatedly.
Common Fault Symptoms
- The pump does not start when you open the shower or hot tap, but has power
- The pump keeps running after the shower or tap is turned off
- The pump starts and stops repeatedly (cycling) during use
- The pump went dead after a leak, power surge or water getting onto the board
- Burnt or damaged components are visible on the old board

Repair Difficulty
Moderate to advanced. The pump is wired into the mains through a fused spur, usually in a loft or airing cupboard. You will need to isolate the power, remove the pump's electrical cover, and move the supply, motor and reed switch connections from the old board to the new one in the same positions. We recommend a qualified electrician or plumber if you are not experienced with mains wiring.
Typical Tools Required
- Screwdrivers to remove the pump cover and board
- Voltage tester to prove the supply is dead
- Phone camera to record every connection before removal
- Towel for any residual water
Description
Before ordering, it is worth checking that the fault is the board and not a reed switch or a blocked filter, as these can cause similar symptoms. Compare the layout and connections of your old board with the photos, and check your pump model on its rating label.
The pump list below comes from our supplier's fitting data. If your pump is not listed, or you are unsure, send us the model and a photo of your old board and we will help you check.
