What This Adaptor Does
Dyson introduced the Quick Release attachment system on later cordless vacuum cleaner ranges. This newer connection differs from the fitting used on many earlier Dyson accessories. As a result, older accessories cannot normally be attached directly to newer machines.
This adaptor bridges the two connection types, allowing compatible older Dyson accessories to be used with newer Quick Release vacuum cleaners. It provides a physical connection between the machine and accessory, enabling continued use of existing tools without replacing them.
Please note: This adaptor does not transmit electrical power. Powered floor heads and motorised tools will not operate when connected through this adaptor.

No tools are required. Simply push the adaptor onto the Quick Release connector of your vacuum cleaner until it clicks securely into place. Your compatible accessory can then be connected to the opposite end of the adaptor.
