What This Part Does
The oven lamp lights up the oven cavity so you can see how your food is cooking through the door glass. Oven lamps work inside a hot cavity and are switched on and off often, so they eventually fail. Fitting a new G9 bulb restores the oven light. It does not affect how the oven heats.
