This genuine Lec kit contains the two parts that hold and open the icebox (freezer box) door inside under-counter fridges: the white door handle and the lock hook it clips into. It fits selected Lec models and the same fridges sold under Logik, Currys Essentials, Bush, Igenix and IKEA names. Replacing both together is the simplest fix when the icebox door will not stay on or close.

What These Parts Do

The icebox at the top of an under-counter fridge has a small hinged door. The lock hook mounts on the icebox and supports the door, and the handle clips into it so you can pull the door open and latch it shut. Both parts are small plastic pieces that get brittle in the cold, and when one breaks the other is often damaged or worn too. With either part broken, the door hangs loose, will not latch, or lets warm air in so the icebox frosts up quickly.
