What This Part Does
The spray arms spin as water is pumped through them, washing the dishes from below. The lower arm sits in the base of the tub and cleans the bottom basket; the upper arm sits under the top basket. If an arm is cracked, blocked or will not turn, that basket is not cleaned properly. Replacing both together restores even washing throughout.
