What This Part Does

The motor sits behind the rear panel of the main oven, with its spindle passing through into the cavity where the fan blade is fitted. When a fan setting is selected, the motor spins the blade to draw air across the circular fan element and circulate it back around the oven. If the motor fails, the element may still heat but the oven will cook unevenly, take much longer, or barely reach temperature on fan settings.
