What This Part Does
The drain pump empties the drum at the end of each wash and before every spin. It is a permanent magnet synchronous pump: a small motor drives an impeller inside the housing, pushing water out through the drain hose. If the impeller jams or the motor fails, water stays in the drum and the machine stops or shows an error.
Common Fault Symptoms
- Water left in the drum at the end of a cycle
- The machine hums or buzzes but does not drain
- A drain error code is shown
- The machine will not spin because it cannot empty
- Water leaking from the pump area

Description
This pump is compatible with 11001011000245 (also listed as 11001011000245A and 34010696). It is the complete pump with its housing, so you replace the whole assembly rather than just the motor.
Before replacing the pump, check the filter and drain hose for blockages such as coins, hair grips or fluff, as these often cause drain faults. Check the model number on the label inside the door or on the back of the machine. If you are unsure, send us your model number and we will check it for you.
Electrical or gas appliance parts should only be fitted by a suitably competent person. Always isolate the appliance before inspection or repair and ensure correct safety checks are carried out after fitting.
Brand names, model numbers and part numbers are used for identification and compatibility guidance only. This part should be checked against the original appliance model number and existing part before ordering.
Replacing a faulty appliance part can help extend the life of your appliance and reduce unnecessary waste.
